Job summary

Sam's Club in Tomball, TX is seeking a Meat Cutter and Wrapper to join the founding team at our brand-new club. You will cut, grind, wrap, and package fresh meat, maintaining quality and ensuring accurate displays to delight our members.

This role emphasizes craftsmanship, safety, and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will help shape the member experience from day one while growing with Walmart's Sam's Club through training, benefits, and career advancement

Qualifications

Experience in fast-paced retail environment preferred.
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Cut, grind, wrap, trim, and package meat products.
Demonstrate knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety, sanitation, and inventory management.
Maintain quality and date control; properly package and store meat products.
Assist members with selection and purchasing decisions; provide friendly service.
Collaborate with team to keep meat department running smoothly.
