Job summary

Sam's Club in Keller, TX is hiring a Meat Team Member to cut, wrap and display meat products while delivering friendly, member-focused service. You’ll help maintain quality and packaging, answer questions and keep the meat area clean and organized.

In this fast-paced role you’ll use handheld tools to assist with production, inventory and pricing while collaborating with teammates to ensure a great shopping experience for every member.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with associates to build a strong meat team and support flexible work across areas.
• Demonstrate product knowledge, safety standards, sanitation, inventory, and proper meat cutting and packaging.
• Use handheld technology to make decisions on production, training, and product quality with customers in mind.
• Maintain area per policies, ensure quality/date control, secure fragile items, reduce waste, assist customers, and ensure proper packaging and labeling.
• Advocate for the department and model high-quality service and products.
• Follow company policies and Open Door Policy in daily tasks.
• Prioritize tasks using policies and data; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers and partners; communicate progress and adapt to change.
