Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cuts, trims, and bones carcass sections or prime cuts to cooking cuts such as roasts, steaks, chops, stew cubes, and grinding meat.
• Receives, inspects, and stores meat upon delivery.
• Informs the Meat Manager on stock status and shortages.
• Provides customers with information about cuts of lamb, pork, beef, poultry, and sausage varieties.
• Prepares showcase items such as kabobs, stir-fry, stuffed items, and marinated items.
• May supervise 3-5 employees in the Meat Department and assist with training and directing work.
