You will assist customers with product knowledge and contribute to showcase preparation, including marinated and convenience items.

The position requires physical stamina, the ability to lift heavy loads, and a GED or high school diploma, with preferred related experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Six months to one year of related experience and/or training is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform demanding physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, trims, and bones carcass sections into roasts, steaks, chops, stew cubes, and grindings.
• Breaks veal and lamb; handles meat stock and weights portions.
• Shapes and ties roasts; fills showcase after cutting.
• Receives, inspects, and stores meat on delivery; informs Meat Manager about stock shortages.
• Provides customers with information on cuts and preparation; prepares convenience items for showcase.
