The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Cutter in Connecticut to manage, cut, and trim meat and seafood according to The Fresh Market standards and guest requests. You will also assist with department inventory, pricing integrity, merchandising, and other operations requiring significant attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2 years or more of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• All Meat Cutters must be certified within The Fresh Market’s internal training platform within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products/weekly ad items and assist guests in finding products and meal solutions.
• Handle, slice, cut, and trim a variety of meat and seafood products according to standards and quality.
• Monitor case temperatures, storage areas and ensure freshness and quality.
• Enforce safety and food safety policies and procedures.
