Job summary

The Fresh Market in Mt. Lebanon, PA is seeking a Meat Cutter who will trim and prepare meat and seafood to The Fresh Market standards while delivering a guest-ready experience. You’ll help with inventory, pricing integrity, merchandising, and daily department operations with precision and care.

Qualifications include at least 2 years cutting meat and being 18 or older. The role requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years or more of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products/weekly ad items throughout the store and assist guests in finding products and complete meal solutions.
• Handle, slice, expertly cut, and trim a variety of the department’s prime and premium meat and seafood products, and items for convenient meal solutions throughout the day.
• Monitor the temperature of cases, spillovers, and storage areas.
• Enforce and follow department practices regarding receiving, stocking, and unloading deliveries to ensure freshness and quality; including cases, coolers, freezers, and sales floor.
• Ensure department adherence to all safety requirements and protocols, including food safety, per policies and law.
