IGA Market in South Carolina is seeking a Part-time Meat Department Associate to provide friendly guest service, handle meat cutting and preparation, and ensure fresh products. Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs. occasionally and 40 lbs. constantly.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Previous meat cutting experience.
• Meat cutting skill test qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepares product for sale (cutting, weighing, trimming) according to Floco Foods standards.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen and prepared meats and fresh meat case.
• Provides special guest service requests (e.g., special cuts, slicing).
• Maintains sanitation standards in the cooler, sales and prep areas.
• Maintains high quality, freshness and properly dated product available for sale.
• Communicate temperature failures to supervisor.
• Announce meat department sale items on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
• All other tasks as assigned by management.
