Job summary

W. Lee Flowers & Co is seeking a Meat Department associate to provide friendly service and prepare/meat products to Floco Foods standards. You will price, stock, slice, and rotate meat while ensuring freshness and proper dating.

The role requires ability to lift heavy loads, work in a cold environment, and handle special cuts or requests. Join a fast-paced team delivering quality service to our guests.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs. occasionally and 40 lbs. constantly.
• Meat cutting experience is preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides polite, friendly service to all guests.
• Prepares product for sale according to Floco Foods standards.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen and fresh meat.
• Provides special guests service requests (eg. special cuts, slicing).
• Maintains sanitation standards in the cooler, sales and prep areas.
• Maintains high quality, freshness and properly dated product for sale.
• Communicate temperature failures to supervisor.
• Announce meat department sale items on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
• All other tasks as assigned by management.

• Provides special guests service requests (ie. special cuts, slicing, etc.).
• Maintains sanitation standards in the cooler, sales and prep areas.
• Maintains high quality, freshness and properly dated product available for sale.
• Communicate temperature failures to supervisor.
• Announce meat department sale items on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
• All other tasks as assigned by management.
