Job summary

Floco Foods in the meat department seeks a friendly, guest‑focused teammate to provide courteous service and assist customers.

You will cut, weigh, trim, and stock meat, handle special guest requests, and maintain sanitation and freshness in a cold environment. You must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs. occasionally and 40 lbs. constantly.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides polite, friendly service to all guest.
• Prepares product for sale (cutting, weighing, trimming) according to Floco Foods standards.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen and prepared meats and fresh meat case.
• Provides special guest service requests (ie. special cuts, slicing, etc.).
• Maintains sanitation standards in the cooler, sales and prep areas.
• Maintains high quality, freshness and properly dated product available for sale.
• Communicate temperature failures to supervisor.
• Announce meat department sale items on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
• All other tasks as assigned by management.
