The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to manage, cut, and trim meat and seafood according to company standards while supporting inventory accuracy, pricing integrity, and merchandising. This fast-paced role emphasizes efficiency, attention to detail, and guest experience excellence in a busy store environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining product knowledge, handling and slicing meat, and ensuring safety and quality across all department processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be certified within The Fresh Market’s internal training platform within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and prepare meat and seafood to The Fresh Market standards.
• Assist with department inventory, pricing integrity, merchandising, and other processes requiring attention to detail.
• Monitor temperature control for cases, spills, and storage areas to ensure freshness and quality.
• Follow safety requirements and food safety policies.
