Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Lewis Center, OH is seeking a Meat Department Associate to join our world-class team. You’ll cut, wrap and merchandise fresh and processed meats, support seafood and deli sections, and help Members choose the right cuts while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

This position requires a meat cutting training program or apprenticeship and prior experience, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits designed to support health, well-being and retirement goals.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Members by answering questions and making meat recommendations.
• Cut, grind, and/or process fresh meats to company standards and weigh, wrap, label as required.
• Maintain meat, seafood and cheese cases, ensuring proper stocking and rotation by expiration dates.
• Ensure sanitation, safety, and cleanliness of the meat department area and equipment.
• Assist in ordering and merchandising as needed across departments.
• Maintain club policies and procedures and support a safe, positive Member experience.
