Job summary

Empire Packing is seeking a Meat Cutter to join the Production team on the Denver floor. You will operate saws, trim meat to specification, and ensure quality and safety on the production line.

Responsibilities include ensuring proper box counts, coordinating with leads, and maintaining sanitation and equipment. The role requires experience in meat cutting and a reliable attendance record in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in production processes and food processing.
• Experience cutting meat with saw/knife.
• Reliable attendance and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Verify saw setup, blade, and equipment operation.
• Cut designated products and send down conveyor.
• Trim bone and fat from product on line.
• Ensure proper sanitation and safety practices.
• Direct Line 2 operations and verify counts and packaging readiness.
• Coordinate with leads and utility personnel to produce correct items.
• Maintain equipment and safety standards on the production floor.
