Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Cutter in Ridgeland, MS to professionally cut, trim and prepare prime meat and seafood items according to our standards. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, pricing integrity, and merchandising while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of meat-cutting experience and be 18 or older. The role requires attention to detail, speed, and commitment to safety in a fast-paced retail environment.

• 2 years or more of experience in cutting meat
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items; assist guests in finding products and complete meal solutions
• Handle, slice, cut, and trim meat and seafood products according to standards
• Monitor the temperature of cases, spillovers, and storage areas
• Enforce and follow department practices for receiving, stocking, and unloading deliveries to ensure freshness and quality
• Ensure department adherence to safety requirements and food safety policies
