Job summary

Harmons Grocery is seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to prepare beef, pork, poultry, and seafood for our fresh meat service cases. You will manage cutting, trimming, wrapping, and labeling to ensure profitability and product quality while delivering friendly service to customers.

You will maintain sanitation, rotate stock, monitor inventory levels, and train new meat department staff. Weekend and holiday hours are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three years meat cutting experience preferred.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit preferred; or relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all cuts of beef, pork, chicken, turkey and seafood for sale.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the meat department daily.
• Assist customers with custom meat orders and product questions.
• Monitor production, inventory levels, and sign pricing accurately.
• Train new meat cutter associates and mentor team members.
