Store 30266 Meat Cutter II / FT - Jamestown, NY is seeking a dedicated meat cutter to join the team in Fluvanna Ave, Jamestown. You will cut, wrap, label and display meat to company standards, ensuring cold chain integrity and customer satisfaction, with daily focus on accuracy and freshness.

The role requires 18+, a high school diploma, experience with knives and meat-processing equipment, strong math and English skills, and a flexible approach to work across store areas while delivering

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience safely using manual pallet jacks, hand tools and power equipment.
• Proficiency in basic math; read, write and speak English.
• Willing to work in other store areas as needed; customer service focused.

Responsibilities

• Cuts and packages beef, pork, and poultry per policy; uses knives and power equipment.
• Wraps, weighs, prices, and labels meat according to guidelines.
• Maintains proper display, signage, and meat merchandising standards.
• Assists with product ordering and stock rotation per policy.
• Ensures sanitation, food safety, and safety standards daily.
• Receives, inspects, and stores meat to maintain cold chain quality.
• Operates and cleans meat department equipment; adheres to policies.
