Job summary

The role requires reading and speaking English, basic math, and knowledge of safe food handling. You will operate meat department equipment and assist customers with selections while following safety and QA requirements.

Qualifications

• The minimum required qualifications include reading, writing and understanding English.
• Ability to perform basic math and follow safety procedures.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs regularly and up to 90 lbs occasionally.
• Experience with meat department equipment and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Cut and trim meat to company specs and rotate products in the case.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas in refrigerated spaces.
• Assist customers with selection and provide courteous service.
• Follow department procedures for receiving, dating, storing, and pricing.
• Adhere to health, safety, and QA standards and attend training.
