Raley's is seeking a Meat Cutter to perform day-to-day operations in the Meat and Seafood departments, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The role involves cutting, weighing, wrapping, labeling, and merchandising, with a focus on fresh product quality and efficient service.

The position requires standing in a fast-paced environment, proper handling of tools, and a commitment to food safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old; 21 years old for positions serving alcohol.
• Standing for extended periods with ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering great customer service.

Responsibilities

• Order, cut, grind, slice, weigh, wrap and label products according to quality, quantity, freshness and food safety standards.
• Control product shrink and inventory through proper handling, trimming and wrapping.
• Sell products by providing customers with excellent information and service.
• Use meat department tools and equipment safely and in accordance with safety standards.
• Display goods following deli/merchandising guidelines.
• Take customer orders and ensure timely completion to customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked meat counter and service areas.
• Assist with preparation of ready-to-go meat products.
• Slice, weigh and merchandise deli meats and cheeses.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
