Job summary

Kj’s Market in Georgia is hiring for a Meat Department role. You will provide friendly service, cut and prep meat, and keep the display fresh and organized for guests.

This position requires ability to lift, work in cold environments, and follow safety standards; prior meat cutting experience is a plus; join a team that values guest service and quality.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs constantly.
• Meat cutting experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Provides polite, friendly service to all guests.
• Prepares product for sale (cutting, weighing, trimming) according to Floco Foods standards.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen and prepared meats and fresh meat case.
• Provides special guest service requests (eg. special cuts, slicing, etc.).
• Maintains sanitation standards in the cooler, sales and prep areas.
• Maintains high quality, freshness and properly dated product available for sale.
• Communicate temperature failures to supervisor.
• Announce meat department sale items on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
• All other tasks as assigned by management.
