Kj’s Market in Harlem, GA is hiring for a meat department team member who provides friendly, efficient guest service and helps prep, trim, and rotate meat products. You will handle special cuts, maintain clean, properly dated stock, and assist with receiving and storage in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires reliable teamwork, ability to lift heavy loads, and willingness to work in cold conditions. Experience in meat cutting is preferred, with training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with others.
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs constantly.
• Desire to learn multiple tasks and the job's technical requirements.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for long periods.
• Previous meat cutting experience.
• Meat cutting skill test qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provides polite, friendly service to all guests.
• Prepares product for sale (cutting, weighing, trimming) according to Floco Foods standards.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen and prepared meats and fresh meat case.
• Provides special guest service requests (eg. special cuts, slicing).
• Maintains sanitation standards in the cooler, sales and prep areas.
• Maintains high quality, freshness and properly dated product.
• Communicate temperature failures to supervisor.
• Announce meat department sale items on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
• All other tasks as assigned by management.
