Job summary

Kj’s Market in South Carolina is seeking a meat department team member to provide friendly, high-quality service to guests and prepare meat products for sale according to company standards.

Responsibilities include cutting, weighing, trimming, stocking, rotating, and communicating temperature issues while maintaining sanitation in cold and prep areas. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in cold environments; previous meat cutting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides polite, friendly service to all guests.
• Prepares product for sale (cutting, weighing, trimming) according to Floco Foods standards.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen and prepared meats and fresh meat case.
• Provides special guest service requests (eg. special cuts, slicing, etc.).
• Maintains sanitation standards in the cooler, sales and prep areas.
• Maintains high quality, freshness and properly dated product available for sale.
• Communicate temperature failures to supervisor.
• Announce meat department sale items on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
• All other tasks as assigned by management.
