Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking a Meat Cutter to join our Meat Department team. You will cut, wrap, and prepare fresh meats and assist Members with product guidance and custom cuts.

You’ll maintain meat case displays, rotate stock by expiry dates, and uphold cleanliness and safety standards while delivering friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience in meat and/or deli department preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist Members by answering questions regarding meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Cuts, grinds, and/or processes fresh meats; weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Prepares special cuts of meat ordered by Members.
• Keeps meat case fully stocked and rotates products by expiry dates.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety standards in the meat department.
