Food City in Alabama is seeking a hardworking Meat Department team member to cut and merchandise fresh meat, assist in ordering, receiving, and display, and maintain clean, well-organized displays.

You will rotate stock, check codes, grind and slice meat, and support HACCP compliance while delivering courteous service to customers. Prior meat-cutting experience is a plus, and on-site attendance is required. We offer a supportive team and good benefits.

Qualifications

• Meat cutting experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Cut and merchandise fresh meat.
• Assist in ordering, receiving and displaying products.
• Grind meat and slice meat.
• Organize and stock cooler and maintain proper rotation.
• Keep display cases neat and clean and ensure correct code dates.
• Follow HACCP procedures and provide courteous service.
