Job summary

Safeway is seeking a Meat Cutter to prepare beef, poultry and other cuts, trim and label products, and keep displays clean and well stocked. You will assist customers with special cuts and answer questions to help them find what they need.

You'll operate knives, grinders and saws, follow safety procedures, and maintain sanitation while keeping the department organized and efficient. Flexibility for early shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience trimming, cutting, and preparing meat products.
• Knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques.
• Ability to work in refrigerated environments and maintain sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meat products and display them for sale.
