Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Meat Cutter to receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats in our Virginia location. You will assist in seafood, deli, and rotisserie areas, and help with special meat arrangements for Members.

The role emphasizes sanitation, safety, and adhering to club policies, with opportunities to move between departments as needed. Expect to work in a busy environment with a commitment to serving Members and upholding GOLD standards.

Qualifications

• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Engages with members by making meat recommendations and answering questions.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to department standards.
• Rotates inventory and ensures meat, seafood, and deli cases are stocked.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards in the meat department.
