Job summary

Kroger in Marysville, WA is seeking a Meat department team member to perform general meat preparation, stock work, cleanup and provide friendly customer service while upholding the company values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

You will cut, grind, slice, wrap and display meat products, keep temperature logs, rotate stock, sanitize equipment, unload deliveries, and greet customers.

Responsibilities

• Cut, grind, slice, prepare, process, trim, seal, package, wrap, and price meat items.
• Stock and display meat items safely and in accordance with company standards.
• Keep department temperature logs accurately updated.
• Unload trucks and sort orders for proper cooler location.
• Wash and sanitize equipment per policies and procedures.
• Greet customers and provide high-quality foods with a friendly attitude.
• Maintain clean, organized sales areas, backrooms and coolers.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
