Safeway in Alaska is seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to prepare beef, poultry and other meats for display, ensuring proper trimming, packaging and labeling to high quality standards.

You will interact with customers, fulfill special cut requests, and help maintain clean, organized displays while following food safety guidelines.

This role requires experience with meat cuts and equipment such as knives, grinders and saws, and the ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior meat cutting or food preparation experience required.
• Ability to operate power equipment such as saws, grinders, and slicers safely.
• Knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques required.
• Able to work in refrigerated environments and maintain sanitation.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with company policies including food safety, sanitation, and dress standards.
