Save A Lot is seeking a Meat Cutter to ensure the meat department operates to company standards, driving sales and profitability. You will trim and prepare standard cuts, follow merchandising plans, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with meat processing equipment preferred.
• Ability to regularly lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Uses knives and power equipment to cut and package beef, pork, and poultry according to store policies.
• Prepares and places meat cuts in the display to look attractive and appealing for customers.
• Assist with product ordering.
• Receives, inspects, and stores meat to maintain the cold chain and quality.
• Maintains sanitation and quality standards daily per policy.
