Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to manage, cut, and trim meat and seafood to our standards while assisting with inventory, pricing integrity, and merchandising. This fast-paced role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience across departments.

You will cut prime and premium products, monitor temperatures and storage, and enforce safety and food safety policies. Availability must include weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years or more of experience in cutting meat
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• All Meat Cutters must be certified within The Fresh Market's internal training platform within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Cut and trim meat and seafood to The Fresh Market standards
• Assist with department inventory, pricing integrity, merchandising, and other operations
• Monitor case temperatures, storage areas, and product freshness
• Follow safety requirements and food safety policies per TFM and applicable laws
