Busch’s is hiring a Meat/Seafood Department Associate in Michigan. You will build department sales by assisting guests, recommending cuts, and ensuring freshness and proper handling of products.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 3+ years in Meat/Seafood; cutting experience is a plus. Company benefits include 401K with match and Daily Pay, in a family-owned environment focused on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3+ years’ Meat/Seafood Department experience preferred.
• Cutting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cuts of beef, pork, veal, lamb and poultry.
• Food safety certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Build department sales by assisting guests with purchases.
• Make recommendations on cuts, preparation, and meal suggestions.
• Determine cutting needs based on guest demands.
• Custom cut meat products per guest requests.
• Cut and process fresh meat to spec.
• Receive, verify and store deliveries.
• Package and price products.
• Rotate and cull products for freshness.
• Scan waste for shrink recording.
• Grind meats per procedures.
• Promote products with samples.
• Maintain service and self-service cases.
• Clean and sanitize department and equipment.
• Follow safe food handling and personal hygiene practices.
• Follow safety practices including Lockout/Tagout.
• Ensure products are prepared to specifications.
• Adhere to Busch’s policies.
• Build relationships with guests, vendors and associates.
• Exemplify hospitality with guests.
