Job summary

Busch’s Fresh Market in Pinckney, MI is seeking a skilled Meat/Seafood Associate to build department sales by assisting guests, recommending cuts, and preparing custom products.

The role requires knowledge of beef, pork, veal, lamb and poultry cuts, plus a High school diploma and at least 3 years in the meat department; food safety certification preferred. We offer 401K with company match and daily pay.

Qualifications

• Proficient selling skills to make product recommendations.
• Merchandising skills to ensure fresh and appealing displays.

Responsibilities

• Build department sales by answering questions and assisting guests with purchases.
• Make recommendations on cuts, methods of preparation and meal suggestions.
• Determine cutting needs based on guest demands and custom cut orders.
• Cut and process all fresh meat products per quality specs.
• Receive, verify and store department deliveries; rotate stock.
