Job summary

SpartanNash in Allendale, Michigan is seeking a Meat Cutter responsible for cutting all types of meats, preparing products per company standards, and maintaining accurate pricing and display. You will work to support the store's financial performance and guest experience.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in retail or meat cutting preferred, basic math, reading, writing, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Cut and weigh various meat cuts for individual servings.
• Produce value-added items per guidelines.
• Cut, trim, bone, and portion carcass sections to cooking cuts.
• Follow recipes to grind and tray meats and make sausage and other products.
• Price, date, wrap and/or bag meat products per guidelines.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and attractive department; rotate stock as needed.
• Follow PPE, safety, food-safety, and guest-experience guidelines.
