Shaw’s and Star Market is seeking a Meat Cutter Apprentice to learn cutting, trimming and preparation of meat products, working alongside experienced cutters. You will assist in displays, maintain cleanliness, and uphold food safety standards while delivering excellent customer service.

This hands-on, fast-paced role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a belief that food brings people together. No prior cutting experience required, training provided.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn via on-the-job training.
• Basic sanitation and safe meat handling knowledge.
• Friendly and helpful customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
