Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and is flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of business on the floor, backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products according to established standards; cuts boneless meat products; and maintains product quality standards.
• Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner: Maintains operational excellence, work area, quality and date control standards for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Values the member's experience in meat and models high quality service and products; exhibits energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards; executes business processes and practices; communicates progress and information; and adapts to change, difficulties, and feedback.

What you'll do

• Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
• Assist with daily operations to ensure quality and date control standards for meat products; secure and merchandise appropriately; and help with purchasing decisions.
