What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and is flexible to work in other areas as needed.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products according to established standards; cuts boneless meat products; maintains product quality standards.
- Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; uses handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Maintains operational excellence; ensures quality and date control for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored per company policies.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area and modeling high quality service and products; executes basics at the highest possible level of quality; shows energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; uses the Open Door Policy; applies these in executing business processes and practices.
- Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress; seeks improvement opportunities; adapts to change and feedback.
