Job summary

Chedraui USA in Houston Wayside is seeking a Meat Cutter 2 to join our store team. Under direct supervision, you will break, cut and prepare meat products to the standards required for display or customer orders.

You will collaborate with Meat Clerks and the Meat Manager to determine what items need to be cut and you'll assist customers with special requests. The role requires heavy lifting and prolonged standing.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification required.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.

Meat products are prepared for display or as ordered by customers. Works with customers to take special orders. Works with Meat Clerks and Meat Manager to determine which items need to be cut. Must be able to perform very heavy lifting, bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods.
