Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking Team Members to support the meat team with counter service, stocking, and sanitation duties. The role requires friendly, efficient customer service and strict adherence to health and safety standards in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining fresh displays, assisting with sampling, and following procedures for pricing and safety. Flexible schedules including nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh, appealing display by checking quality, keeping cases and shelves stocked, rotating products, and filling ice tables.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program, keeping sample areas full and clean.
• Cleans cases, glass, signs, upright displays, coolers, smokers, floors and drains as required.
• Arrives on time, groomed and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, answers phones courteously, and uses suggestive selling.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including health and sanitation and safety protocols.
• Maintains clean, sanitary environment and equipment per standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties with sign and pricing accuracy.
• Immediately reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
