Whole Foods Market Meat Department is seeking a Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation. The role emphasizes friendly customer interaction, adherence to health and safety standards, and teamwork across shifts.

Responsibilities include maintaining fresh displays, assisting with sampling programs, and ensuring accurate pricing. No prior retail experience is required, and flexibility for a fast-paced environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Proactively sells products to customers.
• Learns basic knowledge of all meat department products.
• Visually inspects product quality and freshness.
• Communicates clearly with customers and team members.
• Completes duties in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh and appealing display by stocking and rotating products.
• Maintains back stock.
• Assists with sampling program.
• Cleans cases, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors and drains.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and answers inquiries promptly.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation and safety procedures.
• Maintains a clean working and shopping environment.
• Performs opening, mid and closing duties; checks pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
