Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking an entry-level meat department Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You will help maintain fresh displays, assist with sampling, and deliver friendly customer service aligned with our standards.

Responsibilities include keeping cases clean, rotating stock, following health and safety rules, and supporting the team across shifts. No retail experience required; willingness to learn and work a flexible schedule is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication with customers and Team Members.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh, appealing displays; checks quality; stocks cases and shelves; rotates stock and performs duties as assigned.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing.
• Cleans cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required.
• Arrives on time, groomed, ready to work; works scheduled shifts and attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service, answers phones and pages promptly.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including health, sanitation, and safety rules.
• Maintains clean working/shopping environment and equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
