Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Meat Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You will help maintain fresh displays, rotate products, and ensure clean, appealing cases while upholding health standards.

You will deliver friendly service, respond to customer needs promptly, and assist with sampling, pricing accuracy, and daily opening/closing duties as part of a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in department.
• Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
• Proactively reads labels and familiarizes oneself on various products.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a fresh, appealing display; keep cases and shelves clean and stocked.
• Maintain back stock in good order and assist with sampling program.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, and store equipment; prep and rotate stock.
• Provide courteous customer service; respond to needs promptly.
• Assist with pricing accuracy; perform opening, mid, and closing duties.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures; report hazards.
• Support team with duties across the meat department as needed.
