Job summary

Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking team members to support the meat department with counter service, stocking, and sanitation.

You will contribute to a positive store image by delivering courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and fellow Team Members across shifts. Responsibilities include maintaining fresh displays, assisting with sampling, following safety and cleanliness standards, and supporting store programs and health regulations.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to learn and apply knowledge of department products.
• Ability to deliver courteous, helpful service to customers and Team Members.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures; good time management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing display by maintaining cases and shelves, rotating stock and removing out-of-date products.
• Maintain back stock in good order.
• Assist with sampling program; keep sample areas clean and appealing.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, floors and drains as required.
• Arrive on time, groomed, and ready to work; attend required trainings.
• Provide excellent customer service; address customer needs promptly and courteously.
• Maximize sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follow health, sanitation, and Weights & Measures procedures.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work and shopping environment; ensure equipment safety.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; verify signs and pricing.
• Report safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store leadership.
