Broulim’s is seeking a Meat Clerk to join our meat department in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist customers, weigh, package, and display meat products while ensuring the counter is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

This non-exempt, part-time role requires teamwork, the ability to stand for long periods, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Prior grocery or customer-service experience is a plus, with a focus on friendly, proactive service.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in maintaining a clean and organized meat counter.
• Excellent customer service and communication with guests.
• Ability to operate meat department equipment safely (scales, slicers).
• Basic organizational skills for stocking and arranging products.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers in selecting, weighing, and packaging meat products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat department, including sanitization of surfaces and equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming meat products, rotating inventory for freshness.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide information about various meat cuts and products.
• Operate and maintain meat department equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals.
