Perform general clean-up and stock work in the Meat department and provide customer service. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

1. Wait on customers and counter promptly and cheerfully. Greet customers and provide them with good quality food.
2. Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
3. Communicate effectively with customers and associates.
4. Make a clean, neat, and friendly impression on customers.
5. Unload and store merchandise, prepare and display foods according to company standards, recipes, and policies.
6. Perform temperature monitoring and ensure product quality, freshness, and safety.
7. Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized.
8. Maintain cleanliness and safety of floors and equipment.
9. Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils per policies.
10. Maintain proper signage, product rotation, and space allocation.
11. Operate cash register following company procedures.
12. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
13. Handle conflicts reasonably and cooperatively.
14. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
15. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
16. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
17. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
