Responsibilities

• Place orders by phone or with vendor reps and coordinate deliveries.
• Communicate with members to take orders, quote prices, and negotiate truckload buys.
• Schedule meat receiving with warehouse and traffic to ensure proper quantities and freshness.
• Negotiate lowest possible prices and stay informed on market trends.
• Resolve issues with member stores on meat packs and monitor supplier invoices for accuracy.
• Review daily meat receiving and accounts payable vouchers; manage data entry for items.
• Inspect coolers for quality and rotation of meat products.
• Review specials, A-Maps, EBAs and pre-booked items.
