Job summary

Heinen’s is seeking a Retail Professional to uphold the Diamond Difference Standards at our Ohio stores. You will prioritize daily work, monitor food handling and temperatures, and contribute to meat department knowledge and sourcing.

As part of our associate-first culture, you will write orders, work as a team to complete tasks, and participate in meetings and training. Part-time, with shifts including evenings and weekends, supporting flexible scheduling and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comply with all company policies and standards.
• Sense of urgency and ability to work independently.
• Production-driven with repetitive tasks while standing.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work the non-traditional five-day work schedule, including Saturday, Sunday, and evenings.
• Occasionally exposed to extreme conditions, hot or cold.

• Acquire and share knowledge of Meat Department such as sourcing and culinary tips.
• Responsible for writing orders using effective pars and planning.
• Responsible for working as a team in order to complete daily tasks as needed, including scanning and recording shrink, order writing, raw production, incidental cutting, stocking, rotating, and merchandising.
• Comply with all personal and food safety company standards.
• Attend required corporate meetings and training classes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
