Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Nevada driving laws and safety principles.
• Ability to maintain logs and records accurately.
• Strong communication with clients, staff and the public.
• Ability to assist older adults and individuals with disabilities with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Inspects vehicle and completes inspection paperwork; reports repairs.
• Packs and transports meals and beverages; maintains safe delivery and temperature compliance.
• Drives assigned routes; follows schedules and adjusts as needed.
• Maintains driver log and trip details.
• Communicates client welfare concerns to supervisor.
• Washes and cleans vehicle interior; fuels the vehicle.
• Participates in in-service trainings to update skills.
• Assists passengers with mobility limitations; loads and secures mobility devices.
• Secures wheelchairs and mobility equipment; ensures safety and dignity during transport.
• Contributes to team efficiency and service quality.
• Represents Pershing General Hospital with integrity and cooperation.
