Job summary

Carson Tahoe Health is seeking a Patient Transport Driver to support non-emergency transport services. You will transport patients home and to other facilities as needed, under the Logistics Supervisor's direction, with a focus on safety and patient care.

Qualifications

• BLS certification for healthcare providers is required.
• Familiarity with the Carson Tahoe service area and GPS usage is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, compassionate patient transport service.
• Safely transport patients between facilities following policies.
• Perform daily vehicle checks before transport.
• Report defects or equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain infection control and vehicle cleanliness.
• Log transport details (times, miles) accurately.
