Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Chief Engineer to own the architecture and technical performance of its Air Defense Middle East programs. You will lead system architecture, define interfaces to partner radars and effectors, and ensure field readiness across multi-site deployments far from the lab.

You will drive foreign and commercial sales engineering, negotiate requirements with customers, and maintain a clear technical picture while coordinating with operators and field teams to guarantee

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of systems or engineering experience with technical ownership on fielded systems.
• End-to-end technical accountability for fielded systems in operational environments.
• Experience integrating third-party and customer-furnished hardware and software into a system you were accountable for.
• Ability to brief senior technical leadership and external customers directly.
• Ability to define a verification approach for a full program scope, negotiate requirements and acceptance with a customer, and write a credible basis of estimate.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the year, with Middle East travel the majority of it.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Technical authority for the region and ownership across programs.
• Define interfaces to partner radars, effectors, and customer-furnished equipment; negotiate integration scope.
• Direct foreign and commercial sales engineering efforts beyond domestic programs.
• Lead field operations, recovery, and on-site technical performance.
• Represent Anduril’s engineering position to partners and authorities; translate requirements into executable plans.
• Shape the technical content of pursuits as pipeline expands and ensure engineering can support commitments.
