The AD&S Chief Engineering Team seeks Chief Engineers to guide Barracuda and Roadrunner programs, owning the mission and shaping the ecosystem for rapid defense solutions. You will lead technical and programmatic execution, assemble expert teams, manage design trades, and coordinate prototype fabrication while ensuring alignment with strategy

Qualifications

• Experience leading programs from concept through test and delivery to customers.
• Experience driving strategic direction in competitive landscapes.
• Proven ability to deliver capabilities while aligning technical objectives with program outcomes.
• Demonstrated collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and eligible for a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and programmatic execution of missile designs, fabrication, test, productization and sustainment.
• Own the technical and programmatic success of your programs, assemble teams of internal and external subject matter experts, and communicate that vision.
• Set up trades to enable exploration of early designs with SMEs and Business Development to close gaps for current and future needs.
• Manage detailed design including requirements development, sub-system trades and risk management.
• Coordinate fabrication of prototype and low-rate production articles and subsystem/system level test efforts.
• Support remotely deployed operations of your systems.
• Work with senior leadership to ensure resource plans are adequate for work scope.
