Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United States is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the Air Dominance and Strike programs, directing the technical and programmatic execution of missile systems from concept through delivery.

You will assemble cross-disciplinary teams, define the technical vision, coordinate with Business Development and external partners, and ensure robust, field-ready solutions for critical defense missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Software engineering.
• Experience leading programs from concept through test and delivery to customers.
• Ability to set technical and programmatic vision and assemble expert teams.
• Experience with mission-critical DoD systems.
• Experience working with remote deployment and travel up to 25%.
• Strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Understanding of vehicle and systems design philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and programmatic execution of missile designs, fabrication, test, productization and sustainment.
• Own the technical and programmatic success of programs, establish technical and programmatic vision and assemble internal/external SMEs.
• Set up trades to explore early conceptual designs with SMEs and Business Development.
• Manage detailed system design, requirements, trades, risks and KPIs.
• Coordinate fabrication of prototypes and subsystem/system level test efforts.
• Support remotely deployed operations of your systems.
• Work with senior leadership to ensure resource plans are adequate for work scope.
