Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking an engineering lead for the Air Defense portfolio. You will own the technical baseline, set interfaces, and manage verification and accreditation across programs, including fielded sites and deployable kits.

You will integrate systems you do not own, negotiate requirements with partners, and stand at the intersection of engineering and customer engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of systems or engineering experience on fielded systems.
• End-to-end accountability for whether a delivered system works at the site.
• Ownership of architecture, interface set, and verification for a delivered capability.
• Experience integrating third‑party and government‑furnished hardware and software.
• Ability to define verification approach and justify planned coverage.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical baseline: architecture, interface set, and verification approach across the portfolio.
• Integrate systems you do not own, including base equipment and partner C2 interfaces.
• Own whether it works at the site: verification and environmental qualification decisions.
• Support customers and pursuits by translating requirements into executable technical scope and proposals.
• Solve recurring programmatic issues by defining standards for next deployments.
• Collaborate with customers and fielded sites to ensure configurations are ready and supported.
